Rodney Musselman
Dr. Rodney Musselman is a board-certified family medicine physician with more than 20 years of clinical and utilization management experience. He earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, Indiana, before practicing across a range of primary care and urgent care settings in Indiana and Utah. Dr. Musselman joined MRIoA in 2013 and has held progressive medical leadership roles over more than a decade, bringing a deep understanding of utilization management, prior authorization, and independent review to his work. As Chief Medical Officer, he is focused on delivering timely, high-quality clinical reviews for the patients, clients, and providers MRIoA serves. He is licensed to practice medicine in 26 states.
Daniel Mullen
Daniel Mullen is a seasoned operations executive with more than 30 years of experience transforming healthcare organizations across payer, provider, and healthcare technology environments. His career spans senior leadership roles at some of the most recognized names in the industry, including UnitedHealth Group, Optum, and Anthem, where he built high-performing global teams, drove enterprise-wide operational improvements, and delivered measurable outcomes across workforce management, analytics, and process transformation. Most recently, he served as SVP of Innovation, Product Strategy and Analytics at ABOUT Healthcare, partnering with hospital systems to improve patient flow and operational performance. As COO at MRIoA, Daniel leads operational strategy with a focus on seamless execution, client outcomes, and technology-enabled efficiency. Daniel is an Industrial Engineer and a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma methodology and holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business.
Stephen Ayers
Steve Ayers is a results-driven finance executive with deep expertise in strategic planning, operational improvement, and M&A across healthcare technology and services organizations. He has held CFO roles at some of the most consequential companies in the industry, including Change Healthcare, where he led finance across the software and analytics division and corporate functions, and McKesson, where he held progressive roles spanning accounting, operations, pricing, FP&A, and business unit CFO for their largest division. Most recently, Steve served as CFO at Lyric, a payment integrity technology company, and led Edifecs through its acquisition by Cotiviti before joining MRIoA. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from James Madison University.
Katie Tucker
Katie Tucker is an experienced healthcare operations and product leader with deep expertise in utilization management, process improvement, and cross-functional execution. As Chief of Staff at MRIoA, she partners with the executive leadership team to drive strategic priorities, align leaders to outcomes, and ensure disciplined follow-through across enterprise initiatives. Over nearly a decade at MRIoA, she has held progressive leadership roles spanning clinical pharmacy operations, provider relations, and product leadership, translating clinical insight into automation and AI enablement that improves turnaround time and scalability. Prior to MRIoA, Katie served as Chief Pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente, overseeing multi-site ambulatory pharmacy operations and implementing Lean inventory controls adopted region-wide. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy, an MBA, and is a Certified SAFe 6 Product Owner/Product Manager.
Sally Newton
Sally Newton brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to her role as Chief People Officer at MRIoA, with deep expertise in employee relations, leadership development, training, and organizational design. Since joining MRIoA in 2018, she has grown the People Operations function in both scale and capability and is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the MRIoA Academy, including all training and curriculum. Prior to MRIoA, Sally spent more than 18 years at Extra Space Storage in progressive HR leadership roles, building and leading teams across recruiting, learning and development, and HR business partnership at a national scale. She holds a Master of Human Resources, along with her SPHR from the HR Certification Institute and her SHRM-SCP from the Society for Human Resource Management.
Aja Leichliter
Aja Leichliter is a recognized expert with more than 20 years of experience navigating the regulatory landscape of the healthcare industry. She brings comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations and accrediting body requirements, including state UR and IRO mandates, URAC and NCQA standards, and federal utilization review and prior authorization rules, and has built a strong reputation as a go-to resource for compliance, privacy, and regulatory strategy. During her tenure at MRIoA, she has become a leading voice on the evolving independent review landscape. Her leadership extends beyond MRIoA, where she has served as President, Vice President, and Chair of the Legislative and Regulatory Committee at NAIRO, the National Association of Independent Review Organizations.
Keith Andelman
Keith Andelman is a veteran healthcare technology leader with deep expertise in payer relationships, clinical review solutions, and commercial strategy. Over more than two decades, he has led revenue growth, built high-performing commercial teams, and managed major payer and health system partnerships across the U.S. healthcare landscape. Keith previously oversaw the InterQual business at McKesson and Change Healthcare, and has held senior roles in PE-backed healthcare technology companies, where he developed scalable go-to-market models, expanded into new markets, and secured strategic partnerships with platforms such as Epic and Oracle Health. Known for his operational rigor, market credibility, and mission-driven leadership, Keith brings a proven ability to accelerate growth and elevate commercial performance at MRIoA.
Nilesh Shah
Nilesh Shah is an accomplished healthcare technology executive with deep expertise in modernization, innovation, and large-scale engineering transformation. Known for his collaborative problem-solving and outcome-driven leadership, he has built and guided high-performing global engineering teams, delivered measurable improvements in quality and reliability, and advanced digital transformation across complex enterprise environments. His experience spans cloud migrations, platform modernization, AI adoption, M&A, and the implementation of Agile, DevOps, and security best practices. Prior to MRIoA, Nilesh served as CTO at Merge by Merative and spent nearly nine years at Change Healthcare in progressive technology leadership roles. At MRIoA, he leads Product Development, IT and Information Security functions.
Megan Callahan
Megan Callahan brings 25 years of healthcare technology experience to her role as CEO of MRIoA. Her career spans Fortune 5 enterprises and high-growth digital health companies, including Change Healthcare, McKesson Technology Solutions, and Lyft Healthcare, where she held top executive roles driving commercial growth, strategic transformation, and operational scale. Prior to joining MRIoA, Megan served as an operating partner for healthcare IT and payer services at Welsh Carson, Anderson & Stowe. She is a recognized healthcare voice, featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and Politico, and was named a Fierce Healthcare Woman of Influence in 2020. Megan holds a Master of Public Health from UCLA.
